But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31
What a beautiful promise this is. If we wait upon the Lord, our strength will be renewed. We will mount up with wings. We'll have spiritual willpower that we never could have if we chose to not wait upon the Lord. There are so many great promises written out for us in the scriptures.
